Where It All Started
In 2016, it all started during a weekend drive through Kent, WA to visit a manufacturing incubator. I observed so many industrial businesses with untapped capacity and expertise. I asked a few what is holding them back, and repeatedly heard the need for expert help and hands-on resource to make it happen.
Since then, I have been inspired to help businesses unlock their operational potential to deliver more and win more. I have witnessed the same constraint again in both large international operations and medium/small businesses with niche markets. Their operations are typically catching up with a sales backlog, and find it challenging to dedicate staff just for improvement efforts. That is the gap we want to solve for businesses in “growth mode”, access to operations experts and hands-on help when needed.
Post-covid, as customers shift their purchasing priorities to US-based manufacturing and supply chain solutions, it is greater than ever. I created Onsite Lean Works, LLC to help US-based operations grow capacity through lean process improvements and implementation help.
